There are only 2 vegetables that I really REALLY don't care for and they are mushrooms and green beans... well and olives but is an olive a fruit or vegetable, I don't know. Anyways they are not my favorite, I mean I will eat them but I won't enjoy it. Then in our bountiful basket we got 2 large bags of fresh green beans (which fresh is a lot better than canned, but still) Then I remembered having Green Bean French Fries at a restaurant and started my quest to find the perfect recipe to make these and I found an amazing on on

Green Bean French Fries
1 quart vegetable oil for frying
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup buttermilk (I used milk with a teaspoon of vinegar)
1 pound fresh green
Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees. Whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; set aside. Pour the buttermilk into a shallow dish or a large zip-top bag. Toss the green beans in the buttermilk. Shake off excess flour and in small batches fry in oil until it turns golden brown (around 4 minutes) Drain on paper towels or I used a paper grocery bag. Serve hot. These are amazing dipped in ranch dressing or your favorite dip. NOW these green beans I will eat!!!
Sounds good! I really like to make the recipe for green beans from Our Best Bites.
